Delete Wi-Fi network profile

 

To delete a saved Wi-Fi network profile, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. If necessary, tap Wi-Fi Switch to turn on Wi-Fi. Switch moves right and turns green.
  5. Touch and hold on the Wi-Fi network you want to delete.
  6. Tap Forget network.

 

Note: If the Wi-Fi network is still in-range, the device will still show it in the list of available networks. However, the connection configuration is now deleted.

 

 

Scan & connect to Wi-Fi network

 

To scan for and connect to available Wi-Fi networks, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. If necessary, tap Wi-Fi Switch to turn on Wi-Fi. Switch moves right and turns green.
  5. Tap Scan.
  6. Tap the network you want to connect to.
  7. If security is enabled, enter the password.
  8. Tap Connect.

 

 

Turn on / off Wi-Fi

 

To turn on or turn off Wi-Fi, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. To turn on, tap the Wi-Fi Switch. Switch moves right and turns green.
  5. To turn off, tap the Wi-Fi Switch. Switch moves left and turns grey.
