Add contact

 

To add a new contact to the phone book, follow these steps:

 

Android 4.4 KitKat

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the Add icon.
  4. Enter the contact’s name.
  5. Tap the button under 'CONTACT TYPE' and select Phone.
  6. Tap the button under 'PHONE' and select the phone number type.
  7. Tap the Phone field and enter the contact’s phone number.
  8. Tap the Email field and enter the contact’s email address.
  9. Enter any other information if necessary, and then tap SAVE.

Android 5.0 Lollipop

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap People.
  3. Tap the Add "+" icon.
  4. Enter the contact’s name.
  5. Tap the button under 'CONTACT TYPE' and select Phone.
  6. Tap the button under 'PHONE' and select the phone number type.
  7. Tap the Phone field and enter the contact’s phone number.
  8. Tap the Email field and enter the contact’s email address.
  9. Enter any other information if necessary, and then tap SAVE.

Add contact to speed dial

 

To assign a contact to speed dial, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon.
  3. Tap Speed dial.
  4. Tap the Add icon.
  5. Scroll to and select a contact.
  6. To find a contact quickly, use the Search field.
  7. Tap the button under 'NUMBER' and select the phone number to assign to speed dial.
  8. Tap the button under 'LOCATION' and select an available speed dial number.
  9. Tap SAVE.

Copy contact: import/export from SD card

 

To copy contacts between the device memory and SD card, follow these steps:

 

Android 4.4 KitKat

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Manage contacts.
  5. Tap Import/Export contacts.
  6. Tap one of the following:
    • Export to SD card
    • Import from SD card
  7. Select the desired contacts to copy.
  8. To select all contacts, tap the Menu key, and then tap Select all.
  9. Tap SAVE.

Android 5.0 Lollipop

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap People.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Manage contacts.
  5. Tap Import/Export contacts.
  6. Tap one of the following:
    • Export to SD card
    • Import from SD card
  7. Select the desired contacts to copy.
  8. To select all contacts, tap the Menu key, and then tap Select all.
  9. Tap SAVE.

To delete contacts from the phone book, follow these steps:

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Delete contacts.
  5. Select the contact(s) you want to delete.
  6. Tap DELETE.

Android 5.0 Lollipop

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap People.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Delete contacts.
  5. Select the contact(s) you want to delete.
  6. Tap DELETE.
