Play music or MP3

To play music or MP3s in the music player, follow these steps:

 

 

Music

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Music.
  3. Tap the gray banner to navigate to the following:
    • Recently played
    • Artists
    • Albums
    • Songs
    • Playlists
  4. Tap the selected file to play it.

Play Music

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap PlayMusic.
  3. Select from the following options:
    • Listen Now
    • My Library
    • Playlists
    • Radio
    • Explore
  4. Tap the selected file to play it.

Turn on / off FM radio

To turn on or turn off the FM radio, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Media.
  3. Tap FM Radio.
  4. Connect a cable headset to the phone’s 3.5mm connector to act as an antenna.
  5. Touch the red Marker line and slide left or right to find the desired station.
  6. To change the station, you can also tap the arrows.
  7. Tap the heart icon to save station as a Favorite.

Transfer

Transfer music from computer to device

To transfer music files between a computer and the device, follow these steps:

 

  1. Connect the included USB cord to the phone, then to your computer.
  2. On a Windows computer, an AutoPlay window appears.
  3. Double-click Open device to view files using Windows Explorer.
  4. On a Mac OS X computer, double-click the virtual drive icon that appears on the desktop.
  5. On the computer, double-click the desired folder to access your phone’s files.
  6. Drag and drop the music file(s) from your computer into the internal storage folder
  7. Click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray.
  8. Click Eject.
  9. On a Mac OS X computer, when you are finished, drag and drop the virtual drive icon into the Trash/Eject.
  10. Disconnect the USB cord from your computer and then from your phone.
