Block calls

Block calls from a number

To block incoming calls from a number, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Manage contacts.
  5. Tap Blocked contacts.
  6. Tap the Add icon.
  7. Select one of the following options:
    • Select from people
      1. Select the check box next to the contact(s) to block.
      2. Tap SAVE.
      3. To copy the contact information to another account before blocking, tap OK.
    • Add number
      1. Enter the phone number to block.
      2. Tap OK.

 

 

Unblock a number

To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Manage contacts.
  5. Tap Blocked contacts.
  6. Tap the Menu icon.
  7. Tap Remove block contacts.
  8. Select the desired contact(s).
  9. Tap Delete.

Call forwarding

Cancel call forwarding

To turn off or cancel call forwarding that you have set up, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call.
  4. Tap Call forwarding.
  5. Tap Always forward.
  6. Tap DISABLE.

 

 

Forward all calls (unconditional)

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

To forward all calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call.
  4. Tap Call forwarding.
  5. Tap Always forward.
  6. Enter the number you want your calls forwarded to.
  7. Enter +18056377249 to forward calls to voicemail.
  8. Tap ENABLE.

 

 

Forward some calls (conditional)

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

To turn on conditional call forwarding which forwards some calls, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call.
  4. Tap Call forwarding.
  5. Select one of the following options:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable 
  6. Enter +18056377249 to forward calls to voicemail.
  7. Tap UPDATE.

Call log

Reset call log

To reset or clear the call log or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Touch the screen and slide left or right to display the 'CALL HISTORY' tab.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Remove call history.
  5. Tap the Menu icon, then tap Select all.
  6. Tap DELETE.
  7. Tap OK.

 

 

View call log

Call logs may approximate the amount of time you have spent on phone calls, but they do not accurately show how much time T-Mobile bills.

 

To view call logs or history, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Touch the screen and slide left or right to display the 'CALL HISTORY' tab.

Touch tones (DTMF)

Turn on / off touch tones (DTMF)

Although your phone can use DTMF tones (touch tones), there is no setting to turn them on or off.

We’re sorry, but changing DTMF tones is not available on your device.
