T-Mobile Rocket on Mac-Authorization Error has occured

I am having a problem getting Webconnect to work on my Mac. I'm currently running 10.5.8. When I try to connect, a box pops up asking for username and password. This box is not a Tmobile box, but a Mac OS specific box that requests an admin username and password. However, when I input the username and password, I get an error message stating that "An Authorization Error Has Occured". I am the admin on the computer, and verified that the box that pops up is asking for admin privileges. I called T-Mobile tech support, but they suggested it was an OS problem and directed me to Apple. Apple said it was a software problem, since other components of the OS recogninze me as the administrator. I've also tried this on another apple laptop with the same OS version, and got similar results. I'm convinced it has nothing to do with the OS. Can anyone help?
