I too, have just discovered that I am not the only one experiencing this wifi problem with my LG L9. What I have that is different with what I am reading is that I can establish wifi connection again by using the Power Off and Start again command. But, the wifi will not hold. I lose wifi capability sooner after I have regained the signal.
Is there any other steps or procedures other than what is here in this discussion page? I myself truly believe the phone itself has gone bad. And, this phone is less that 3 months old.
