I agree! This is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable! Why is Tmobile not taking care of this? What sort of customer service is this?! almost three weeks now. Seriously?!?!?!?!
The above temp? page is back up for checking usage as of right now.
????? I just clicked that link and got:

Try it again once you connect to your hotspot then it worked for me

I don't want to have to turn on the HS to manage account, that's ludicrous. If that works great, but it's the main PC site that needs to be running. I only use my HS in my car, and if I need to manage my account while driving down the road, can I hold TM responsible for any accidents?
After several days of not working, mim.t-mobile.com started working today. But have to disable wifi and turn on the cell data to get it to work.
Working for me today, but I also find it odd that management only seems to come through the connection itself, on the device it's being used on. Not a great first impression. I've had this SIM though for a year.
Unfortunately those of us using mobile broadband can't turn off our wifi to get to the site. I spent an hour and a half in a T-Mobile store last night before giving up. They expect you to sign up for auto-pay to get the new plans but the auto-pay system is broken so you can't sign up for it. My old plan is over tomorrow. I've never had such a hard time giving a company money. Guess I will have to find another carrier.
If they don't fix it by the time my 60 days expires (12/24/13) I'll be dropping them and selling my 4G HS on Craigslist. I don't use nearly 1.75gB per month anyway. I just got on a PTEL Paygo plan at $100/yr. and I think that will be all I need for my use. I'm on home and work wifi 95% of my use. But it is nice having a wifi hotspot in the car while traveling, worth the $35/60 days if they can ever get their act together!
I went to the store today since I was unable to fully sign into and SEE/MANAGE my hotspot account on my t mobile (where I have always maintained my 11-month-old hotspot account without any problmes) and
also unable to sign into the new mim.t-mobile.com site.
That has been a problem for about a week.
John K at the store courteously applied some of my available funds to give me a new pass (they could only give me 2,5-for$30, what happened to 5-for $50?).
Then I went home and successfully signed in (via the hotspot) from my laptop.
NOW I did get somewhat further into the new mim.t-mobile.com site (after being directed there when I signed into the my t mobile site trying again to SEE/MANAGE my hotspot account).
It looked like I successfully completed the signup/signon on the new mim.t-mobile.com but then I was shown this message, which 41 minutes (and counting) later still there:
Congratulations! T-Mobile is updating your tablet.
It may take a few minutes to complete the update.
You will be notified when this process is complete.
What the heck is going on? There is nothing else on the screen. No navigation, no nothing. Not even "Sign Out." Just that persistent message. Am I ever going to be able to manage my hotspot account again from the Internet on my laptop?
Anyone get to this point and (hopefully) beyond?
@Tommytmobile.. The new plans are only offering three different " data access cards " ( pay as you go ) The one you purchased is 2.5GB - $30.. There are two others and if I remember correctly they are something like - 4.5GB - $50 and the lower end is 500MB for $15.. As well as a day use plan.. The new plans get rid of the PPMB ( pay per megabyte ) after you use up all your data. Whats suppose to happen now is they continue to give you access for the full 30 days, however it is at reduced speeds. Let us know if this is the case when you run out of data - do you get cut-off or reduced speed?
I been looking on here for comments to see what others have encountered when they used up all their data. I was cut-off after I used up all my data a few days ago.
Im hoping that i tagged my link to my facebook with the top ten celebrities on face book that I will get 10,000 hits, thats how you MASS share.. See my post about the site being down and then I sent that link tagged with high profile celebs, see if they get to fixin it now? After like thousands of hits.
wow, these guys really are in a race with Obamacare web folks. Maybe the lot of them are all out having a serious drugfest somewhere?
My device received an SMS TODAY (11/14) telling me to go register my email address with my.t-mobile.com. So USING THE TMOBILE 4G modem, I went to do that. How messed up is that? - the site is still not working.
I then used the mim.t-mobile.com site, which still doesn't work from my computer. As reported here, it does now function only from the 4G modem, although put me through re-registering the email address I had (just last week) used when I purchased the Walmart device and put my first 2 month credit on it (all via the phone).*** At least I can now see how much data has been used. But the site doesn't even show my phone number. It is barely functioning, obviously.
This whole fiasco should embarass the dickens out of t-mobile. They keep making announcements of "improvements", which are hardly that - the improvements are that your previous data plans cost more, and are impossible to access via the very means you bought them for - the Internet!
*** I have ceased using my t-mobile Sonic hotspot (yet, unlocked, it is very useful for European plans) and bought the Walmart 4G one. It is much more economical over the course of a year. If the t-mobile Walmart pricing scheme disappears, I am finished with t-mobile
Well I finally got logged into the mim. t-mobile. com website through my hotspot device. It only provides the most basic of information though. I had to re-register my email address just to get access, which is strange because I have had this hotspot since August and T-Mobile has had my email address since then. I was even receiving emails about the new website and data plans so I think it's crazy to add my email address to the account again.
Very strange... I try my.t-mobile.com everyday, get the same "thank you... we're busy upgrading our system..." message. It "appears" to be a live page (you can click on links like "manage/add funds...", and it takes you to that page (same as old page I use to use)... but then goes right back to the "thank you...." page again. So they have all the old stuff there, why aren't they using it until they get the new thing working? Some of the links work, most don't (like edit profile doesn't, how dumb is that!) It's been 4 or 5 weeks, unable to manage account from a PC... I'm gone in 30 days!
