I am in Saudi Arabia, My Uncle sent me an iPhone 5s from the US, which I'm unable to use, how do I activate it, it came with a T-Mobile SIM and is not connecting to any network and does not accept any other SIM.
Please rescue me!!!!
Here's a link to Tmobile's unlocking policy.
If you don't meet the requirements then you will have to purchase
a code off the internet from a 3rd party seller.
Cant be use unless its from apple. The way arround its to buy unlock code but as now it cost $120 dollars. Even if you pay for the tmobile service and have a accout more than 40 days... you need to bee using that phone to make calls for the las 7 days...
The information given by larraga91 and gramps28 is completely correct. Let us know if we can be of help. Thank you.
As you can see this puts me in a tight spot, how can T-mobile help me in this case. It is a device (paid in full) purchased with no contracts what so ever, I would even consider paying and unlocking fee if T-Mobile can provide a solution for this. I have previously gotten a phone unlocked from My carrier in UK when I was studying there so it's not a big problem for the carrier.
Any hope of something from T-Mobile?
In order to be able to offer a SIM unlock for you, we would need for you to meet the requirements on this document: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1588
Please let us know if you do meet the requirements, so we can request an unlock code for you. Thank you.
