I am currently on a T-mobile postpaid plan. Hypothetically, if I replaced my current smartphone with a micro-SIM card to a smartphone with a different sized SIM card (ex. iPhone 5), I would need to purchase a new SIM card (nano sim in this case). I think the price was $10.
Is is possible to purchase a T-Mobile prepaid SIM card (on sale online occasionally), and activate that nano SIM card to my current plan? Can I use a prepaid SIM on a postpaid plan? What is the price for activating the SIM card when I already have purchased the SIM card?
If u buy a new phone from tmobile the sim will be in the box
Use the new sim enterntheninfo on mybtmobile .com
Or call.a representative or have the store switch sims for u
If my "new" phone was a hand-me-down and it came with no SIM card, then what? Will I be able to activate a new prepaid SIM card to my current postpaid plan?
Previously, I upgraded from a feature phone to the iPhone 4. Both phones have different sized SIM cards. T-Mobile charged me money to get the Micro SIM and activate it to my current plan.
Or a new non prepaid sim card any right sized sim card
Typically with a post paid account you can just go in store and have the SIM size exchanged at no cost
