Nokia Lumia 1020 Unlocked with T-Mobile LTE??
created by jsimple in Windows Phone General - View the full discussion
Not sure if it has been posted or not, but YES the At&t version of the phone unlocked works well on the LTE Bands of T-Mo
it is a hit or miss for some people. They have purchased the Lumia 1020 from Microsoft at full price and asked for the unlock code from At&t, and they have been successful. Some people have told a fib and said they are traveling overseas and need the unlock code, and have been successful. I still have my Lumia 920 that I use on a T-Mo Provider service, and its cheap, unlimited and works great! If you want the att version, go and get it, and you will be fine, if you already have a t mo phone, or one of there secondary subsidiaries.
A blog about the Nokia 1020, unlocked version, with an update about how it can be used on T-Mo....

I'm having very fast LTE (14 mbs down/ 6 mbs up)data speeds in Oklahoma City with three bars but:
How resolve either or both of these issues, which I suspect have to do with APN setting?
It has everything to do with the APN settings.
Both services are thru MMS.
You will need to add in the correct settings into the phone and then that will start working.
If you access to wifi you should be able to use nokia's program for network config.
Here is what to do:
Edit MMS APN (might be add MMS APN if not already added)
In APN field type
Scroll down to MMSC and enter
Scroll to MMSC port and enter
touch the "save" icon.

So, only the APN, the MMSC and MMSC port fields contain entries. The rest are blank.
theartizan -The APN adjustment detailed above solved both the e-mail and the MMS situation. Thanks for the Nokia Setting program tip. That would have made it easy had it been applicable to my model. Nokia's program for network settings does not support the screen resolution of the Lumia 1020 (per the store listing for the program).
I was told at the Tmobile store that an unlocked Nokia would only do 3G, no 4G or LTE. Is this true?
I get 4G and LTE on my unlocked AT&T branded Nokia Lumia 1020. I cannot share my internet connection despite several sessions with support at T-Mobile. Otherwise, it works great.
You mean that the 4G and LTE work, but not as a mobile hotspot?
The 4G and LTE worked as a mobile hotspot for several days and then stopped working. It appears there is something in the T-Mobile signal that is telling the phone to not share the connection.
