My t-mobile iPhone 5 turned itself off and i cannot get it to start again. It is now plugged in and shows no life. What can be done?
Take out battery for 1 minute
If u can restart phone
Otherwise call for an exchange
Don't think you can take a batter out of an iphone...
Ok then call.an exchange
Sorry i wasnt aware
Have you tried to hold down the power button for about 30 seconds or so and see if you get any response?
Like the One S and other phones you can hold the power button for x amount of time and will act like you pulled the battery and put it back.
I just don't know how long it is for iPhones.
If that don't get you a response and charing don't either with a known good working charger I would say it went bad.
okay this was a well know problem when the iPhone 5 was first released. here are the directions to get your phone working again
Hold Down the Lock/Power button and the home button at the same time for about three seconds or until you see the apple logo and wait for your phone to restart. (your information should still be intact)

i don't what your problem dude, this dude is bullsh**ting everywhere, pretending that he has a alot of knowledge, he even doesn't about iphone. because of you, we can't get professional advise from tmobile representatives. get a life u pric
You do know that this is a user support forum right? And how that works?
You should step back you anger level a little.
this guy was totally misguiding me without having any proper knowledge. he should keep his mouth shut if he doesn't something. not try to show off that he is a super tech genius. because when he answers or replies. the forum marks the topic answered.
just look here, he asking one guy to remove the battery from iphone.do you still think he is doing right. we seek help from those who have a better knowledge. he was commenting on my post about frequency and signal booster repeaters, and this pric even doesnt know about iphone.
did your problem get resolved.
drfaiss do you think i'm a super tech?
Thank you. I called for replacement… as nothing was working. Then, magically it worked this morning. Appreciate the input and will have these if the phone acts up again. Thank you. The issue has been resolved.
That's good to hear that it's working again for you.

make sure you close out these trend by indicating your question was answered
