All of a sudden I started seeing what "looks like" an eye (with the eyelashes, etc, LOL) at the top menu bar on the phone. I've tried restarting the phone and when I drag down the "notifications" there isn't anything there that I can see that would relate to why this all of a sudden appeared. Does anyone know what I am referring to and what it does/means/stands for/how to get rid of etc?
Its either the smart stay or smart rotation feature under the display settings.
I dont know but I have the same issue

thats correct relax your phone is only tracking your face movents nothings spying on you
OK, some people are going to say it is smart stay but these people work for the exact same people that are watching you. It is the Golacks, a group of aliens that live amongst us who work for the government. The government gets to use their technology in return for letting them live and work undetected. Always face your phone down when you are at home otherwise you are responsible for whatever my happen, you have been warned.
* golf clap*
The eye icon is there to let you know the Smart stay feature(keeps screen on as long as you are looking at the screen) is active. If you would like to disable this feature you can do so by going to Settings>Display>Smart stay (uncheck).
Thanks! Not sure how I "turned this on" but turned it off for now...good to know my phone is so "smart" LOL!
