I have a Samsung Gravity 3. Recently I bought a new phone, but didn't like it so I went back to this phone. They had to put a new SIM card in it since the old one was inactive. Now it won't let me download picture messages. I've had this phone for like 6 years and this is the first time this has happened. Please someone help. It's making me mad.
I'd feel the same way if my good old phone all of a sudden wasn't downloading pictures. Let's do some quick test to see if we can figure out what's going on with that device.
To make sure I fully understand, you are able to receive the message but the picture doesn't download?
Are you able to access any data?
Can you send a picture message? What happens if you send a picture message to yourself?
Are these messages coming from or going to international numbers?

When I open the picture message it just tells me the subject and date and it won't let me retrieve the picture. It says that the service is unavailable.

I have called T-Mobile for this last night and the guy that was helping me couldn't figure it out either. He put in a request for the Tech people to try and figure it out. He's supposed to get back to me on Monday night, but if you could help me before then that would be awesome.
I don't know why it's doing this. It doesn't make any sense. I didn't change anything on my phone and my plan should be exactly as it was before.
