I changed my pin code password last night and can't remember it. How can I bypass the pin lock code to use my galaxy s3. I've already tried to do hard reset and phone continues to go to the pin code screen
Keep inputting the wrong code and eventually it Google will request you reverify your account.
I tried that and never worked. Had to do a hard reset.ugh.........ive been reloading apps and just got done around 3.......what a drag.thank you for your reply !'
Same thing here. I tried typing it in many times never said anything about "Forgot your password?" I went to a T-Mobile because Samsung said that T-Mobile had "special codes", and that they could unlock it for me but I mentioned that and the lady at T-Mobile said she knew nothing about it. T-Mobile also said I could "manipulate" my PIN # from my, MyT-Mobile account, but I never saw anything on that website about it. At this point I am still locked out of my own phone with no other way to fix it other than resetting it, which how do I do that when I can't even get into my phone? I already had to do a reset once for another reason and I DO NOT WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!! This is just ridiculous and there needs to be a better way to fix these problems other than a reset. I hope someone else can help me because T-Mobile can't.
Thanks in advance to anyone who CAN help me.
For future referance make sure you lock code is something you can remember. There's no need for you being upset with, Google, T-Mobile or Samsung because you forgot your own security code/pin/pattern. I suppose it's the bank's fault if you can't remember your pin number to you credit/debt card too. As it stands if a factory reset/restore is available to you do so.
I didn't forget. I changed it, remembered it, and typed it in, said it was inccorrect. The phones has you type it in twice to confim and I did. I even created my PIN and then wrote it down so when I typed it in when changing it there wouldn't be any problems because I already created a PIN before I went ahead and changed it. But anyways I DID NOT FORGET. I rarely forget my passwords, pins, etc. For me this is unusual. And for the factory reset, how do I do it when I can't get into my phone? Thank you for your help.
Did you by chance try the old password?
