got all excited thinking it might be the long-promised JellyBean update... but no dice...
however, my HTC One S is now on SW version 2.35.531.10 710RD
that seems to be a small bump up from the previous 2.35.531.7
any idea what the changes are? The only thing I noticed, that I at least don't recall seeing before, is the option to encrypt my storage. Potentially useful, but not something I really need. HOping there might have been something that addressed the static-y crackle I get sometimes on calls.
any idea where one might be able to find a full changelog?
Got it too. Would it kill TMO to update its release docs?
I also received this update this morning. was really hoping it was jelly bean
got mine .. nothing of significance noticed.
^ This seems to be the changelog. They say that version 2.35.531.7 and version 2.35.531.10 are both "current". I would imagine, then, that this list of improvements is for both... *shrugs*
Android version 4.0.4 / Software number 2.35.531.7 710RD and 2.35.531.10 - Current versionVersion
Yep, those are the changelogs. T-Mobile does release as much as possible on that doc
After they are installed, the two versions are essentially the same. If you have 2.35.531.7, you'll see no difference moving to 2.35.531.10. It's mostly for people on earlier versions who still have yet to update. My understanding is .10 changes how the update process works, to make a smoother upgrade from the older versions in regards to this:
That's all this time!
