Could it be that the person you are texting has it blocked.
Message blocking usually just blocks short code messages. You can NOT remove it by using my-T-Mobile, you have to call 611 (customer care) or visit a store to have it removed. Customer Care installed mine after I complained about getting charged $10 by a dishonest text scammer, this was their solution to the problem created by T-Mobile not policing their 3rd party charges. So now I cannot donate by texting or get coupon specials via text, but I can send texts to other cellphone numbers.
i know it isnt that for me. I have tried texting about 5 people - all who i texted with just fine yesterday. it started yesterday evening after talking to customer care. so i probably have to talk to them to get it fixed.
You can check on MY T-MOBILE to see if you have text block activated. Also if customer care changed your services you should have gotten a text saying that they made the change you requested to your account, unless that is also blocked.
Yeah, I did a service change, but not related to text messaging. So I got that text. And the online account settings show text blocking as disabled. But I still get messages saying it is activated when I try to send texts.
