For reasons which may very well be beyond their control, TM have announced they will be selling the Nexus 4 at a much higher price than it can be bought for over at the Google Play Store when it launches in the next couple of days.
At the moment the Google site is still only signing up for customers to be notified, but that should change imminently.
Unless you have a need to buy the device subsidized on the Classic Plan or using the Equipment Installment program on the Value Plan, there is no obvious reason to buy the device direct from TM. With the 8GB model listed at $299 from Google, it's likely that most people won't need either of those options from TM.
I would like to know about how can I buy the unlock Nexus 4 16GB ? Could I go to buy from T-mobile store or I need to order by online? If I order online how many day can I get it? and how much? I would like to know about tax also how much do you charge for one Unit?
I would order online from Google Play site. Cut out the middle man.
I spoke with a Google phone rep yesterday and he said 5 phones max could be ordered at one time.
Device prices displayed on Google's site DO NOT include any shipping and handling and tax charges:
$299 for 8gb
$349 for 16gb
From Google's Terms of Sale: All packages are delivered via UPS two-day shipping (in USA)
I think the tax will just be your state's sales tax. I am in Hawaii so it is like 4.7%
So when I buy the Nexus 16gb tomorrow, I guesstimate I would pay $349 + $16.40 (tax) + SHIPPING COST
Google could not give me exact cost of shipping. The rep just did not know. But the rep
did say if I order 1 phone or I order 5 phones - the shipping cost is THE SAME.
We'll find out tomorrow. Exact shipping cost is hard to know right now.....
