My phone is stuck on the LG Logo. When I power cycled it by pulling the battery out, when it was powered on, it stayed on the LG Logo screen and just flashed the buttons on the bottom. I have not tried to root my phone or do anything fancy, just normal app downloads from Android and Amazon market.
Is this a SIM card problem? What should I do?
I forgot to mention. I have tried hard-booting using HOME + VOLUME DOWN + POWER and it has the same result.
I am by no means an expert on mobile phones but I think the SIM card only holds information so that T-Mobile knows it is your phone. This may be a problem in the boot file. Maybe it became corrupted.
If you can go to a tmo store, take the phone and see if they can help you. See if you can call a number listed on the website and talk to tech support.
I am currently having the same problem. Did you find a fix?
Take phone to store and have them order another for you. Mine did same thing Mon night, was told at store I was in "factory safe mode" and its now an expensive paperweight. Hope this helps
I just had a similar problem with my Optimus T. I finally got the phone to boot by removing the SD card, which I guess has gone bad (I was having symptoms over the past couple weeks, the phone would tell me my apps were missing even though I knew they were on the SD card, occasionally locking up or telling me the card had been removed). After putting the SD card back in, the phone will boot but does not recognize the card.
