Hi, when I plugged my phone into my computer, I got the update now reminder for the latest Software version 7.10.8773 and I let Zune download and install and restart the phone. On step 8 of 10 of the update, the loading bar changes to step 1 of 2, the phone restarts, and I get a notification saying the update failed, along with error message 80070017. I couldn't find a solution via the wizard.
I've looked at https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4509 and also, to all of the "fixes" (none of them worked),
I tried many things:1) Correct my date and time to update my phone2) Restart my Windows Phone3) Reset and restore my Windows Phone4) Roll it back to its pre-updated version and state. And then try again

Hi dfons144, Have you tried reinstalling the Zune SW on your PC?

Your not alone, I am getting the same errors. I have tried re-installing Zune, Multiple PC's, and contacting Microsoft who's only response has been it's my computer not my phone. Hopefully you have better luck.
Hi steelsteve:Yesterday I contacted Microsoft and they told me at the end (the easy way to resolve an issue) replace your phone, we dont know what the error code 80070017 means. Last week Nokia told me, my phone is a product code 059L3Q9, there are still no available updates for this product code. And check update roll-out status for your device through the link provided below:
Today I spoke for the second time in the week with T-Mobile, and they don’t know how to resolve my issue and they said "do what Microsoft told you, replace your phone and pay additional cost ($$$)", but they not assure that will resolve the problem (the easy way to resolve an issue).
