I am using a Samsung Galaxy I5800 I got in Asia. I am using T-Mobile GSM SIM prepaid plan.
Is there a USB dongle running on GSM using SIM card available?
Can I get online to the internet using this USB adapter?
How can I find out more about this?
Are you talking about a USB dongle to connect your computer to the internet? If so, T-Mobile definitely has those available for purchase. You'll need to get the device it's own SIM card and set it up with a Mobile Broadband data service package.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your response.
Can you please tell me the T-Mobile Jet and T-Mobile Rocket use Cellular network to connect to internet?
Or, these are just for connecting WiFi router to get online?
Does T-Mobile Jet and T-Mobile Rocket has build in SIM adapter so that I can use my T-Mobile SIM to get online using my Android tablet?
Are these two same USB modem for laptop to connect to internet using T-Mobile cellular network (not WiFi network)?
The two devices that you are referring to are usb devices. They plug right into your laptop and gives you connection using the tmobile network. These deices do not produce a wifi signal.
It sounds like you would like a wireless device to not only power the laptop but also also wirelessly connect a tablet. I recommend a Mobile Hotspot Device which can connect up to 5 devices.
Most important thing is to make sure you can get get T-Mobile coverage at your house.
thanks. Yes, I am using T-Mobile for my Samsung mobile phone, prepaid SIM card plan.
No, I only want to use my Samsung Android Tablet to connect to T-Mobile cellular network to get online.
How T-Mobile Jet and T-Mobile Rocket work in my Android Tablet?
Unfortunately not, they work in a laptop in the usb drive and also install connection software. The wireless device would be the way to go.
But my Samsung Android Tablet is wifi only.
When I am out of range of wifi, I want to connect to the internet using T-Mobile cellular network.
My tablet has USB connector. Only missing is T-Mobile software running on Android.
The usb devices are pc/mac only. the wireless device is a small handheld device that puts out a wireless signal. You can take it with you as it is password protected to keep you connected.
Can you please tell me what is the usage cost for T-Mobile Sonice 4G Mobile HotSpot?
Do I need a separate T-Mobile account? (I have T-Mobile prepaid SIM Gold Reward account).
Is there anyway I can try this out in our office without committing to long term contract? Thanks.
It is a separate line of service and runs anywhere from 30 and above depending on the amount of data. I know if you purchase the line through the store you do have a 30 day buyers remorse so if it doesnt work out then you bring it back.
I hope that helps
