All I can say is, I'm passing this G-Slate on to the wife and kiddies .
LOL, those were my thoughts exactly, although, I may try to hold out for a 10" screen.
It's been a good device, but the couple issues that never got fixed are enough to make me batty (no auto correct).
That device will absolutely kill the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet.
I highly doubt they'll come with anything else. If anything like the Nexus phones, this is it.
For a 10", you'll have to get a non-Nexus tablet from some other company that will charge much more.

Since you said 10" even before the rumor hit, I'm giving you a "Helpful Answer" mark .
Now I just don't know what to do. Such a joyful dilemma to have .
Thanks! Now if that rumor would confirm itself...
I'm not replacing a G-Slate, but I'm down for a 10-inch Nexus tablet. Why can't they make a 12-inch? :-P
How about a nice 54" tablet the size of a big screen TV ?
Only if I can get a nice belt clip/holster for it.

The "Nexus 10" rumor mill is growing. And I have no idea where they get their scoop from, but it's nice to have lots of rumors about something than no new rumors. The things that have more rumors often become reality .
Geek.com reports, that the Nexus 10 rumor lines right up with some information they received from a "source". So apparently they were holding back on mentioning it, but now more has leaked that aligns with what they already heard. They claim the Nexus 10 will sell for $299 and might have been a consideration for announcement on day 2 of Google I/O 2012. (I'll let you read their article for further details.)
I'm just hoping the Nexus 10 is more than a Nexus 7 with simply a larger screen and battery. Because if the Nexus 10 has no more to offer than a bigger screen and battery, I'll get a Nexus 7 and be happy. I want a Nexus 10 with some more bells and whistles than just a bigger screen and battery.
7-inch tablets are awkward for me. I can't use it single-headed like a phone, but it's too small for me to use in the same way that I use the 10-inch tablet.
In terms of updates, Google keeping the Nexus 7 & 10 pretty much identical makes sense. They'll have little hassle using the same updates for both and sending them out at the same time.
But the 10 may fair a little worse in terms of performance, if it's got nothing more than its 7" sibling.
And the latest rumor .
It may have a $299 version with 16GB of space and also a 32GB version. I can see myself buying a 10" with 32GB.
I haven't followed the rumors or the reality of the Nexus tablets as much as I thought that I would have. Do the Nexus tablets come with cellular data connectivity?
No, WiFi only.
Then I don't know what to do. I want a cellular data tablet and I'm ready to give up my XOOM. I have some more months to figure this out, I guess.
