I recently restored my Galaxy SII to factory settings and noticed my Visual Voicemail application was back to the old version (as noted by the white envelope icon in contrast to the new pink one) and now I cannot find it on Google Play, and wont show the update under "my apps" as it did before. Help?
You have to access it from the T-Mobile Mall app. Sorry.
There's a note under Visual Voicemail in T-Mobile Mall that reads "Download from Android Market....."
Can you click in it and does it give you a link? Are you own a pay as you go plan?
Yeah but all it says is open. There's no update button
Go to My Apps on the phone and see if you can update.
Nope. Not listed
Just open it, set it up, sync it and allow it to update on it's own. Hope this is helpful.
I cleared market cache and updates, as well as VV data. set everything up and still face the same problem :/
Mine just updated today. The envelope is Hotpink with a white little tape reel. LOL!
Do you see it under "My apps?"
No, it'll show up my friend. Call your phone and leave a voicemail, let it sync up (off wi-fi) then see if it will update in a day or two. That's all the advice I can give.
It worked! It randomly updated it despite it not showing. I still dont know what may have prompted the success but ill take it nonetheless.
Then can i get a helpful or correct?
