    My touch 4g Q (lg)

      Both husband and I got one of these.  Mine is working fine but his is having problem with syncing of calendar events (between google calendar on pc and calendar on the phone).  He is also not getting all emails from his hotmail (using the "mail" function on the phone where he put in the mail and password) though he is getting some.  He says he does not think he is getting all the google mail emails either.  He can't send emails from either account while on the phone.  I have same phone bought at same time and though my mails and calender updates are not instantaneous they are eventually getting there (within 5 minutes or so).  


      Any advice.


      I think we have checked to make sure under settings it says "sync" and "show"  but not sure what else could be the problem.

          Hi dedelydee,

               Does your husband see any error messages? Has the email function ever worked properly for him? One this you can have him try is, remove the Hotmail account and readd it.

            If this were our only problems, I would be very glad.  I don't even know if this one is resolved but here is the laundry list of our current problems with our phones (both same mytouch 4g Q)



            1) freezes up when I browse a webpage

            2) takes about 4 minutes to restart

            3) freezes up at intermittent other times

            4) dials numbers randomly--infrequently

            5) have trouble hanging up calls--end unresponsive

            6) I had a password on it but had to disable it cause causing so many freezeups.


            My husbands

            1) calls straight to voicemail

            2) some texts not going through


            I am having no trouble with calls going through and he is having no trouble with responsiveness of the phone.

              You are definitely having quite a few problems. This all sounds like it stems from software issues.
