I have a T-Mobile G2 with a screen that isn't working. The phone boots and powers on (I can hear the volume changing when I push the volume buttons) but the screen is completely black. The only way I can turn it off is to remove the battery. I've tried doing a hard reset and the problem wasn't fixed so I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem. I haven't dropped it or anything and never gotten it wet. I literally put it in my pocket and it was working fine, and the next time I pulled it out the screen was broken. Please help!
The two absolute most important questions regarding this issue are:
1. How long have you had the phone?
2. Did you insure it?
Less than a year and there's no warranty which means they probably wont do anything for me
If you have already attempted the master reset with the hardware keys, and that did not work your device needs to be replaced. If you have had the phone less than 12 months, it is still under warranty. As long as there is no physical or liquid damage to the phone we can replace it for you.
