when creating the folder did you guys use our RM-691 or the other RM
dude calm down and actually listen to the video...it says to name the folder to what type your phone is currently...if you haven't flashed it before and you still have a normal plain C7 Astound its RM-691. So name the folder RM-691. If for whatever reason you want to flash your phone again rename the new folder to RM-675 because your phone type will be that from after the first flash. GL!
How did you download the NAM belle fw ledjani?? When I tried the last file that is supposedly to be 200MB never stopped downloading...I cancel the download after around 3.3GB.
when I put RM-691 it couldn't detect it wait im going to try it again
thats because you moved the folder to the right spot when phoenix was open...close phoenix and reopen it.
I have now got that part right, but now when i hit refurbish it tells me error getting list of files failed one file does not match with checksum in data package
I didn't have the same issue. My files came out to about 320MB download. Did you use navifirm plus?
I used navifirm plus from http://www.symbian-toys.com/navifirm.aspx
-After opening the program, selected server (top left corner), Production External-Under the first (left column), selected Nokia C7-00 (RM-675) after the list loads-For second column selected 111.30.609 (which is belle)-For third column variants: under the column started typing nam, then selected nam_frost_metal (059B5R9).
Downloaded the files, and as I said it was 320MB. Maybe try updating to latest verions of navifirm plus?
i used 691 but once update is done it will change the product code to the firmware u use.
k will try again
Never got that error...try downloading another fw. euro1_uk_ireland_charcoal_black (0595320) thats the one i used.
I have navifirm+v1.6 thats the latest. The only difference between the one i used and the one you used is probably spelling...my phone uses "s" instead "z" for example "finalising" instead of "finalizing" because thats how the british spell. its no biggie to me.
That's weird for the download part.
I'm considering using another fw like the european ones, because when I send text messages, they get split up even though it is well under 160 characters. Can you look at your text messaging settings, for character encoding do you have full support or reduced support? And what do you have for preferred connection under the same text message settings? Also if you had the same issue that other people get your text messages split up.
yes it was my wifi problem. it works.
hmmm waiting for the files to download thanks for all the help
Well I dont think mine are getting split up...i have it on/defaulted on reduced support and preferred connection is GSM/3G.
