I'm sorry you're having problems with your touch screen not functioning properly. There are definitely a few things I'd recommend trying. The first would be to make sure the screen is clean and clear of any foreign materials including cases and screen protectors. The next thing I'd recommend is to master reset the device to rule out any software issues on the device. You can find the master reset for your device in the documents section of the Motorola CLIQ / CLIQ XT.

Are you using the Cliq or the Cliq XT? If you are using the Cliq and have not updated the software, check out Upgrade to Android Eclair 2.1 using an SD Card - Motorola CLIQ. If updating your software, or if you are using the Cliq XT, the master reset will be the next step needed to resolve your issue.
