I am trying to unlock my phone, but I can't do it because every time I dial 2945#*800# (part of unlock code instructions), it keeps saying "connection problem or inavlid MMI Code".
I will need a little more information in order to fully assist you. Are you using the HTC myTouch 4G or the Mytouch by LG? Are your trying to unlock a privacy lock, or is a lock that allows your phone to be used with non T-Mobile SIM cards?Did you contact us to get this unlock code?
Usually when you are unlocking a phone, you need a non-Tmobile SIM in it for the procedure to work. That message sounds like it's trying to dial the code, and it can't dial unless there's a T-mobile SIM in it.
I am using the mytouch by LG and I'm trying to unlock my phone so I can by a T-Mobile Sim card from another country. I currently have an American T-Mobile SIM card in it.
Check out SIM Subsidy Unlock Code, if you meet all the qualifications, we can supply you with the unlock code you and steps on how to unlock your phone.
It sounds line Alicia 23 has bought an unlock code already?
I have used the procedure from TMO, which is that if you have tenure as a customer in good standing, they'll send you the code and instructions for no charge via email. But part of the instructions they send you is to put a non-TMO SIM in the phone. That puts it in the right mode to be unlocked.
I recommend following the instructions at the link above to start the process if you qualify.
I have unlock code instructions but part of the instructions tell me to dial 2945#*800#. and I can't dial that number because everytime I do, it says that I have an "invalid MMI code".
There may be an issue with the code you received. I recommend contacting us again, so we can make sure we have to correct information for your device.
