I just received my White Samsung Galaxy S II, and everything works well except sending text messages! Everytime I try to send a text message, it says "Failed"/"Message not sent", but I am able to receive text messages. Is there anything I can do to make it work??
P.S. I have not tried sending any picture messages
Have you try to contact customer care to see if the option is active on the system. If not they will charge you for those received messages
I have unlimited messaging on my plan. Also I'm using the SIM card from my old phone.
This happens to me to with my sidekick 4g, it also happened with my g1, g2, and defy.
It didn't happen on my old pre android phones.
I think it's an android specific problem. I don't know why but the phone doesn't continue to try to send messages if doesn't have service when you send a message.
The iphone cueue's messages and sends them when service is restored. Why can't our android phones do this?
I could not use the same sim from my old galaxy with the new SG2 - some features did not work and the new update that is coming you need the new sim that comes with the phone
Make sure there's no extra characters in your contacts phone numbers.
They need to be formatted as:
202 555 1212
I went to the store and the guy said that I just needed to change my SIM card.
Mine was in Flight mode for some reason. Go to your settings and click wireless and network, and unclick flight mode.
