By going through various start-up screens on the phone,
I ended up with a file in the download space on my phone:
Turned off the phone, removed the microSD card, and inserted it into a ready on my PC.
Found the file. Ran it.
Turned on USB tethering. Device still not recognized (seen as disconnected).
Contrary to the instructions, I turned on the USB Mass Storage mode.
Frustratingly, this mode immediately turns off when it's enabled.
Select it again, and it stays on.
At which point, the happy Win7 Exploder window opened, allowing me to see the contents of the phone.
Dodgy at best.
Hey Richard, Sorry for the delay in responding! I am glad you were able to get connected to your computer and to be able to transfer files. 64bit Windows has been known to have difficulty connecting, but often downloading the device drivers from the manufacturers website will make for a smoother connection process! Here is a link for LG's website to find the drivers!
Click the "LG Android driver" on the right.
As new phones get released sometimes it can take some time to get fully compatible drivers between the manufacturer and microsoft. As T-Mobile we currently do not have any updates from LG as far as timeframes. If you would like to contact LG directly to check on their updates with Microsoft here is their 800 number:
LG is available 24/7 to assist with any concerns, they also may be able to suggest downloading a driver for a different LG phone that will be compatible.
Thanks again for your response!
