Anyone seeing this? It takes a 1-2 seconds for home screen icons to appear , takes longer for keyboard to disappaer after typing. It wasn't this bad with 3.0.
Can't say I've seen such an issue since the update.
Reboot it and see if that helps any.
Tried that multiple times.Hasn't helped.
Might you possibly have an app installed that is the cause?
Mine is sluggish too. Especially after closing an app, there is often a 2-3 second delay in screen responsiveness.
a factory reset after a major update is always a good idea. That may help. or it could be an app.
Uninstalled some apps initally the issues became intermittent .Then I uninstalled some more its seems to be better . But I can't recollect what all I removed . These are the ones I remember
Graffiti keyboard for android.
Still sometimes I have to press power key multiple times for tablet to wake up & unlock it.

Me too. Very annoying. Plus, auto correct isn't even fixed. Grrr... I started using thumb keyboard. Pretty good.
I have seen a noticeable improvement in the responsiveness of the tablet after the update. I agree what may be happening is related to an app.
I saw that only for about an hour after my initial upgrade. I figured it was the dalvik cache being updated. If you're still seeing that after the first hour I would definitely consider either a factory reset or removing applications that might appear to be running in the background.
Factory reset seems to have made things better. But lost all my apps as I did not want to back up to google servers.
next time use a file manager app like ASTRO to backup all your apps.
ps - google already knows everything about you, why not back up to google servers
As "big brother as it sounds" I tend to agree. Since they know what you're doing anyway, it doesn't really make sense *not* to back up to their servers.
That said... one of the apps you were running was probably the performance culprit.. so if you HAD backed up, you'd be in the same position you were in before.. a slow slate.. ;-)
