So I decided after doing some research to go come on board with T-Mobile. I used a deal I found on a student discount website called studentrate.com. I got 10% off my monthly bill, free activation, free shipping, and the sensation for $149. I'm very happy with my decision. As far as getting the deal mentioned, it was so easy. I just called the 800 number in the deal and a very friendly customer service rep helped me out. She knew all about Studentrate which made me feel more comfortable about getting the discounts promised. I recommend this to any student out there who is looking to save a few bucks. I can't stress enough how easy it was. Here's more information if anyone is interested T-Mobile Discount . Enjoy!
Sounds pretty good. I've never ordered a cell over the phone though. Is this only for new Tmobile customers?
Says right on the deal...."10% on qualifying monthly recurring charges for new and existing customers (includes voice, text & e-mail services)"
Is this discount good on all phones or just the ones shown on the deal? I'm thinking of getting the new blackberry bold. Anyone have it?
I've seen this deal. It's good on all phones. Only are have special prices for new customers.
Jimmy you can just call the rep at the (866) 464-8662 number, then select option 3, give the Promo Code 13997TMOFAV. You can ask the rep any pricing question you may have regarding the BB Bold.
There's also an option for going online to order FYI ... T-Mobile Discount
That link doesn't work right.
Sorry they must be updating it or something.
I opened up a new line with T-Mobile the other day then I was on here an saw this! I called the next day to explain and the rep gave me the 10% discount without any problems and even credited me the $35 activation fee! Pretty pumped. Thanks OP.
You're welcome. I'm glad this helped someone out. That's rad that the rep did that for you too.
I think the link is working again for the 10% Tmobile discount and ordering online T-Mobile/Studentrate

Ok my bad, I guess you have to follow the deal, hit click for code then go to the T-Mobile website to order online. I just wanted to post because some ppl don't like making orders over the phone. T-Mobile/Studentrate
You should probably give it up with the online link. Yes you can order phones online and get the same discounts mentioned, 10% off monthly waived activation, etc, but they don't have all the phone on the list online.
Some people prefer ordering online and i saw that you could, but guess it's better to just call for the discount.
