I just purchased a new Rocket 2.0 from CowBoom.com for use on a Mac running Mac OS 10.6.
I downloaded the latest software and latest firmware installer.
The WebConnect software recognizes the Rocket 2.0, configures the network and connects.
The problem is that I can't connect to the internet. All attempts to browse the web redirect to my.t-mobile.com log in page. Logging in does not stop the redirects.
I've tried 2 different SIMs. Both work fine in an Adroid phone and load web pages with no problem.
You can not use a Sim or service for a phone in that.
You need to have a account specifically for a web connect device.
Certainly don't need a separate account for occasional needs.
