So I just got off the phone with TMobile cause my phone wasn't wanting to dial out and she asked me what version my phone was on and she told me too just wait because the new memo she received yesterday says 4.0 will be pushed out next week and it might fix my issue, although she was really rude it might be true since it was a memo from tech support lol

? so your okay waiting a week for no outbound Calls??
Call back, tell them you're not waiting and want your issue fixed TODAY. You'll decide on an update when that is available.
They just tried to brush you off. Don't accept that.
And you can also review some tips in this forum for fixes to your issue .

It takes like 5 tries but eventually it calls out lol, and tmobile wont send me another phone cause they say its on backorder
Does that happen everywhere?
If it does I can see it being a phone if happens beyond 3 - 4 miles.
If not is probably a tower issue and replacing the phone won't help.
yes it happens everywere i go even when i have 4 bars, tmobile tried to say it was probably from an app i downloaded so i did a full reset on my phone and it still happens
This really needs it's own thread. Help Mr. Mod. Dose it do it on wifi too?
Question. Do an antivirus will bring problems when downloading an update like ics, should I delete it before I download the update? I mean when and if the update finally come thru.
d.smith89 well in their defense I have had that problem on my phone and a reset did fix it for me.
kolile Yes antivirus can cause problems and should be removed before updating.
There are a few apps that are not compatible with 4.0
Sounds to me like there's an app causing a conflict somewhere (I have a similar problem every now and then -- I just haven't gone through and debugged which app).
A factory reset would resolve it until the app in question comes back.
I have done tons of resets and have been through 4 replacements but it but even straight from TMobile the phones they send still do it, I have also tried tons of different Sim cards
So, just because I tend to be thorough, you've done a factory reset and NOT installed any apps and had this problem?
(I am thorough with this because some people assume "factory reset" means that, but they usually have the "automagically reinstall apps" option set, so it is back in the same condition where the problems occur)
