Hi, new here. I read about some refarming going on in T-Mobile's network that will allow some non-Tmo phones to work on 3G (e.g. iPhones). Just wanted to ask about my unlocked Palm Pixi Plus and if the refarming will ever let me use 3G on my phone, I'm currently stuck on EDGE since it doesn't support AWS 1700 / 2100. So does anyone know if my Palm Pixi Plus will ever get 3G over T-Mobile's network with the refarming that's going on?
Good question. If your device specifications show that the Pixi Plus supports the 1900 band, then you should be able to get 3G speeds once the network is refarmed in your area. While T-Mobile does not guarantee functionality of non T-Mobile devices, you should be able to take advantage of the faster speeds.
