I got my phone in November and I wasn't happy with it. I had lots of issue with it for example if I would try going online it would kick me back to main screen, camera sucks so they replaced my phone with another mytouch same issues with this phone.Why can't they just replace this phone with something that works. So I'm not happy at all kind of thinking about canceling my service .
I am having MAJOR problems with my own! I bought my FIRST MyTouch on 3/16 and that same day (before I added any apps) I was having problems with the text messaging app that comes with the phone! The phone would shut off on its own while I was on the phone, sending texts or whenever. I wouldn't receive calls or text messages. (I'm in college and I'm the yearbook editor so I'm constantly sending messages and making calls) I did a master resest on the phone and restored to factory settings just in case I did something wrong. That did not help me at all. I went back to the store to see if they could do anything. They gave me my FIRST new sim card. The phone worked for a day or two without restarting and freezing. The problems started all over again. I returned back to the store. I got my SECOND MyTouch on 3/26. It worked for a few days and then the problems started all over again. After this I called T-Mobile technical support to see if there was something they could do that I had not done. They couldn't fix it, so I returned to the store again. They gave me my SECOND new sim card! Once again it worked for the first two days and the problems started again. I called technical support again and they made me put my sim card into another phone and see if I was having problems, I wasn't so they arranged for me to get my THIRD MyTouch without having to pay any fees and I received it on 3/31. I'm still having problems and I want a new phone and I shouldn't have to pay for anything because I'm having so much drama with this phone!
That's is same problem that I have with my second phone.So I called T-Mobile once again and the Guy from technical support hung up on me and never bothered calling me back.I've only had T-Mobile since Nov 2011 and already have a second mytouch. So I can't get another cell phone that actually work,in September 2012.So I'm stuck paying for a phone that doesn't work. Hopefully they can start noticing that these mytouch phone's aren't worth paying for.
I KNOW HOW YOU ALL FEAL I GOT THE SAME PROBLAM ,BEN TO THE T-MOBLE STORE COUPLE OF TIMES AND NO HELP THERE MY CAMERA STILL DONT WORK ,AND KEEPS TROPEN PHONE CALLS , ANDTROND DONT WORK KEEPS GOING OUT ON IT , PHONE IS SUCKS , I HAVE BEN WITH T-MOBLE FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS BUT I THINK ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE IF I CANT GET NO HELP THIS TIME AROUND
We would like to help with your mytouches, now if you are having an issue with the camera that was a known issue but has been resolved with the latest software, ensure you have the latest software, if you do not you will be able to download it manually in just a couple weeks here is the info on that. http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4289 If you are suffering from freezing or slowness that is also resolved with the latest software, we know this phone can be a pain at times and we are working to make it a better experience for everyone.
I already have the latest software but I am still having constant problems of my phone freezing. I can't accept calls or my phone automatically reboots when I'm in the middle of doing something. I barely have any apps downloaded. I have a task killer and antivirus. What else am I supposed to do. I can't use a phone that doesn't work! PLEASE HELP!
Same issues here since the upgrade my phone just cuts off at random tmes while I am using it and I have to take out the battery before it will even let me turn it back on. When I am trying to answer a call it freezes up causing me to miss calls. I have not gat any response from the store or calling in at this point and we have 4 phones in my home acting the same way!!! Frustrated!

Can you tell me why I am not receiving text messages until hours later or someties the next day?? I did what they said and re-started my phone, didn't help, took out my battery and sim card, didn't work, for the money I paid for this phone it's NOT worth all this aggrevation. According to the coverage map it says I am getting excellant coverage so I know it's not that and I am not gonna keep going to the store to get the same phone over and over!!!!
Could be your memory is getting low or a app problem.
Have you tried master restting the phone and testing without any other programs on it other then what it comes with?
Yes, I have tried all that and I have alot of memory, I don't use many apps at all.
For that to be a good test though you would need to test it without restoring your programs or installing any for day or two to make sure it wasn't the programs.
That was what caused it on my friends galaxy 2.
