I have Samsung S5620. I want to send emails using my service provider, Knology. I have set up the account and I still cant send emails. I want to send videos and cant. Help
Maryb12 you do understand you're posting in the Samsung Galaxy S II forum? I'm not familiar with that phone or if it's even a T-Mobile phone as I googled it and couldn't come up with anything related to T-Mobile. If it's not a T-Mobile phone I'd suggest trying the customer service of the service provider. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Can you not send *ANY* emails or can you just not send videos?
Most email providers have a limit on the size of attachments. Videos are generally larger than this limit.
Youtube is the best option for sharing videos, in my opinion.

I cannot send any emails. I tried sending a "test" email. No luck
Can I ask where did you purchase this phone?
Unlocked samsung s5620 purchased new from amazon.com
This is by far one of the most difficult questions to assist with as I don't have enough information on the phone. As I looked on Amazon.com I can't help but wonder what specifically about this phone swayed you to it and T-Mobile network as opposed to a regular T-Mobile phone?
the samsung s5620 could receive wi-fi without a data plan. I researched the t-mobile phones that could receive wi-fi and they all required a data plan. I didn't want a data plan.
And you're connected to wifi when trying to send?
I just did a quick search of knology. Do you have authentication turned on for your outgoing mail? They use some sort of SMTP Authentication for outgoing mail.
