Just got my HTC Sensation. Today my Dell laptop doesn't recognize it when plugged into USB port. Says: Please insert disk in Drive E. I've changed USB ports with no success. Thanks for any suggestions.
make sure you enable your phone to disk mode when it is plugged in. by default it may only be in charge only mode.
Thanks for your response. How do I do that? I'm given 3 choices (very briefly) on the phone when I plug it in: Sync, Tethering and Internet pass through. Is that what you're referring to?
Go to Settings>Connect to PC>Default Connection Type and select Disk Drive.
I'm having a similar problem. I've tried everything I've been told. My issue is that after I connect to my pc and I browse through the folders in my HTC, it closes on me and I go back in and as soon as I'm in any of the folders again it keeps kicking me out and I'm not able to store anything on my device like I used to do with my old phone. I'm trying to store pictures, music and so forth. I've been able to sotre some but it kicks me out after a few seconds. Please help. I have a brand new HTC sensation. I know how to use that feature but is not working with this phone.
Thanks but that's not doing it. I know how to do that and I know it's one of the steps. the problem is after I do that, it keeps kicking me out.
