So, suddenly, my phone shows that I have no service, so I turn it off and back on, then it says that my phone has no SIM card, which it obviously did. I messed with it for a little while, checked the card, which looked fine, and the circuits under it looked fine, then I took it out and tried another SIM. The other card worked, but it didn't have service, yet it still said there was a card in there. I should mention that the SIM card is almost 9 years old, but it's been fine up until this point. I'd really rather not have to replace it, but I can't call T-Mobile to see what the problem is... Any suggestions?
I tried it in another phone and it said the same thing, so I guess I have to get a new one...
Sorry to hear of the trouble here.
It does sound like you need to replace that SIM card, hope I can offer some options to make it as easy as possible for you.
First off, all new phones from us generally come with new SIM cards, but they're not activated unless you request it. Do you have an unactivated SIM card in any of the stuff that came with your phone?
Also, you can order a SIM card online by using our online chat. or find our closest store to you.
Yeah, I took the blank SIM card it came with and just activated it. Works fine again.
Oh good, very glad to hear that. Thanks for taking the time to let us know its cleared up:)
