To check if your plan includes text messaging, perform the following steps:

1. Go to My T-Mobile and log in.

2. Select PLAN & SERVICES.

3. If your updated messaging feature is not listed, select CHANGE PLAN OR SERVICES.

4. Select the desired messaging bundle.

How do I subscribe to a text messaging plan?

To subscribe to a text messaging plan, perform the following steps:

1. Go to My T-Mobile and log in.

2. Select PLAN & SERVICES.

3. Select CHANGE PLAN OR SERVICES.

4. Select the desired Messaging Bundle:

  • $4.99 – Any 400 Domestic Messages
  • $9.99 – Any 1000 Domestic Messages
  • $14.99 – Unlimited Domestic Messages

How do I change my current text messaging plan?

To change your current text messaging plan, perform the following steps:

1. Go to My T-Mobile and log in.

2. Select PLAN & SERVICES.

3. Select CHANGE PLAN OR SERVICES.

4. Select the desired Messaging Bundle:

To check if your updated text messaging plan is in effect, perform the following steps:

1. Go to My T-Mobile and log in.

2. Select PLAN & SERVICES.

3. If your updated messaging feature is not listed, select CHANGE PLAN OR SERVICES.

4. Select the desired messaging bundle.

Do incoming and outgoing text messages count against my plan?

Yes. T-Mobile customers are billed for text messages sent or received. If you have a Messaging Bundle, you incur overage charges once your bucket of messages is depleted. ‘Pay as you go’ text messaging customers are billed per message at the standard rate. All plans include the ability to send and receive text messages for just $0.15 each.* Receive info alerts (horoscopes, sports scores, joke of the day, and more) for $0.15 each, and official T-Mobile messages for FREE.*

*Messages to international numbers from the US are $0.15 each.
