T-Mobile Internet (GPRS/EDGE) T-Mobile Internet gives you wireless access to the Internet over the GPRS/EDGE network in many locations in the US and worldwide (where T-Mobile coverage is available and where T-Mobile has roaming agreements in place). TIPS indicates that the GPRS/EDGE network is available, but your device is not connected.
indicates that you have an active connection to the Internet over the GPRS/EDGE network.
After you have added T-Mobile Internet to your account, you can connect to the Internet over the GPRS/EDGE network. Connecting to the Internet via the Comm Manager To connect to the Internet via the Comm Manager, perform the following steps: | 1. | Press the Comm key on the left side of the device. |
| 2. | To turn the Comm Manager on or off, tap the Wi-Fi icon. |

| 3. | An alert will appear that states, New Network Detected or Multiple Networks Detected. |
| 4. | Tap to select the tmobile [unsecured]. |
| 5. | Tap to select The Internet (or work via a VPN). |
| 6. | At the T-Mobile HotSpot screen, tap Login. |
NOTE: If you select Do not ask me again (disable), you are disabling the HotSpot Utility screen where you can type your username and password to log in to T-Mobile HotSpot. You will not be able to log in at all because the device will not prompt you the next time you are at a T-Mobile HotSpot location. To access the HotSpot Utility screen again, select Start, then More, then More (again), then Accessories, and then T-Mobile HotSpot. If you select Login, you will see the HotSpot Utility screen where you can log in to T-Mobile HotSpot with your username and password. If you select Cancel, you will exit out and will not be connected to T-Mobile HotSpot.

| 8. | Tap to select the boxes you want. |
| 10. | When you have successfully connected, you will see the Wi-Fi Connected icon in the navigation bar. |
Connecting to the Internet using Settings NOTE: Wi-Fi must be on to detect available networks. To connect to the Internet using Settings, perform the following steps: | 1. | Tap Start, and then Settings. |
| 2. | Tap the Connections tab. |
| 4. | Tap and hold the desired Wi-Fi network. |
| 6. | To be taken to the T-Mobile HotSpot log-in page, launch your Internet Explorer browser. |
| 7. | At the T-Mobile HotSpot log-in page, type your username and password to authenticate. If you need to purchase a DayPass, you can do so from the T-Mobile HotSpot log-in page as well. |
| 8. | When you have successfully connected, you will see the Wi-Fi Connected icon in the navigation bar. |
NOTE: When the Wi-Fi screen opens and displays the available Wi-Fi network, you will see tmobile listed as the available Wi-Fi network. The T-Mobile network is an open authentication network for customers who do not have existing T-Mobile Wi-Fi subscriptions.
