How Do I Use T-Mobile My E-mail? (Handspring Treo 600)

NOTE: Use T-Mobile My E-mail on your Treo 600 to get your personal e-mail from AOL®, Yahoo!® Mail Plus, Earthlink™, Comcast, and many more. You can also get your work e-mail that you receive at your desk with Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes.

Setting up a mailbox on the My E-mail Web site

To set up a mailbox on the My E-mail Web site, perform the following steps:

1.	Go to My T-Mobile and log in. For more information, go to How Do I Log In to My T-Mobile?

2.	Click My E-mail.

3.	Click Setup or Add New Mailbox. Follow the instructions to create the mailbox.

NOTE: You can add multiple e-mail accounts to My E-mail.

Viewing POP settings on the My E-mail Web site

NOTE: You must be signed up for t-zones^SM or T-Mobile Internet to access My E-mail using POP3.

To view POP settings on the My E-mail Web site, perform the following steps:

1.	Go to My T-Mobile and log in. For more information, go to How Do I Log In to My T-Mobile?

2.	Click My E-mail.

3.	From the Left Navigation menu, click Mailboxes.

4.	At the top of the page, click POP Settings.

5.	Click the name of the desired mailbox; the POP settings appear.

NOTE: The POP settings in this example are not valid settings for your Treo 600.

NOTE: Keep the POP settings available to set up e-mail on your Treo 600.

Setting up e-mail on the Treo 600

To set up e-mail on the Treo 600, perform the following steps:

1.	Turn on the Treo, and start Mail. If you have not previously set up an account in Treo Mail, the Mail Setup Wizard starts automatically.

NOTE: To start the Mail Setup Wizard manually, tap Menu, tap View, tap Edit Accounts, and then tap New.

2.	From Select an account to set up, within the drop-down list, select Other. Tap Next.

3.	On the Name screen, type the requested information, and then tap Next.

• Account Name: Type the nickname you want to use for this e-mail account on the Treo 600.
• Full Name: Type how you want your name to appear in e-mails you compose on the Treo 600.
• Email Address: Type the e-mail address from the My E-mail POP Settings Web page.
• User Name: Type the User ID from the My E-mail POP Settings Web page.
• Password: Type your password for this e-mail account.

4.	On the Server screen, type the requested information, and then tap Next.

• POP3 Server: Type myemail.t-mobile.com.
• SMTP Server: Type myemail.t-mobile.com.

5.	On the Advanced screen, type your User Name and Password, and then tap Next.

• User Name: Type the User ID from the My E-mail POP Settings Web page.
• Password: Type your password for this e-mail account.

6.	Tap Done. To download e-mail from your account, tap Send and Receive.

NOTE: To check for new e-mail, open Treo Mail, and then tap Send and Receive. To receive new e-mail automatically on your Treo 600, tap Menu, tap Options, tap Preferences, and then select Get mail every 30 minutes.
