T-Mobile VoiceMail security features T-Mobile cares about your privacy and wants you to be aware that your voice mailbox has a password security option that you can turn on or off. Because many customers have asked for the security feature to be turned off to allow speedy access to voice mail messages, your voice mailbox is automatically set up to NOT ask you for your password. T-Mobile recommends that you turn on your voice mail password for added security, but as always, the choice is yours. Why do I always have to type my password when blocking caller ID? When blocking your number from being displayed on caller ID, the voice mail system will prompt you to type your password every time you access the voice mailbox from your device.
