Insert / remove SIM card

To insert or remove the SIM card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Using the notch on the left side of the phone, remove the back cover.                                                sim.jpg
  2. Insert the SIM card with the golden contacts facing down and the notched corner facing out, as shown.sim2.jpg
  3. Replace the back cover.

 

To remove the SIM card, follow these steps:

  1. Using the notch on the left side of the phone, remove the back cover.                                                    sim3.jpg
  2. Gently slide the SIM card out of the SIM card holder, as shown.

Mobile Device Unlock

Mobile Device Unlock

The Mobile Device Unlock code allows the device to use a SIM card from another wireless carrier. This may be necessary when traveling internationally. To enter the Mobile Device Unlock code, follow these steps:

 

Important: Stop if you receive an error message. The device may lock permanently if you enter the incorrect code multiple times.

 

  1. See if your phone is eligible to unlock: Mobile Wireless Device Unlocking.
  2. Contact Customer Care to request the Mobile Device Unlock code for your phone.
  3. Verify the IMEI by typing *#06#.
  4. Insert a Non-T-Mobile SIM & turn the phone on.
  5. The phone will automatically prompt you to enter the code into an  empty field.
  6. Tap in the empty field above Unlock &  Dismiss.
  7. Input the unlock code provided by T-Mobile.
  8. Tap the Back button to remove the keyboard from screen.
  9. Tap Unlock.
  10. The phone will display  Network Unlock Successful.
