        How-tos

        Subscribe to FamilyWhere

        To subscribe to FamilyWhere, follow these steps:

         

        1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
        2. Click PROFILE.
        3. Click Familywhere.
        4. Review the Terms of Service.
        5. Click Yes, Activate.
        6. Complete all informational steps required.

         

         

        Locate a family member or lost device

        To locate a family member or lost device, follow these steps:

         

        1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
        2. Click PROFILE.
        3. Click Familywhere.
        4. The home screen defaults to Locate.
        5. Click the Mobile Number you wish to locate.

         

         

        Forgot password

        If you've forgotten your password, please contact T-Mobile Customer service for assistance.

         

         

        Send a check-in message

        To send a check-in message, follow these steps:

         

        1. Launch FamilyWhere.
        2. Click Check In.
        3. Enter the recipient and message content.
        4. Click Send.



        Access check-in details from message

        To access check-in details from a message, follow these steps:

         

        1. Open the message
        2. Click the URL included in the text

        Unsubscribe from FamilyWhere using my T-Mobile.com

        To cancel your FamilyWhere subscription through My T-Mobile.com, follow these steps:

         

        1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
        2. Click PROFILE.
        3. Click Familywhere.
        4. Click Settings.
        5. Click Unsubscribe.
        6. Click Unsubscribe from T-Mobile FamilyWhere.
        7. Click Unsubscribe.



        Cancel your subscription to FamilyWhere using your phone

        To cancel your FamilyWhere subscription using your phone, follow these steps:

         

        1. Launch FamilyWhere.
        2. Tap Menu.
        3. Tap Settings.
        4. Tap Cancel Account.
