Indicators

Indicator lights

The indicator light is located opposite of the USB port. Review the table to understand the status of the indicator light.

Blinking green twice every 3 seconds

Data stick is powered on

Bllinking green once every 3 seconds 2G registration
Blinking blue once every 3 seconds 3G or 4G registration
Blinking red Laptop stick is powered on and searching for the SIM card
Solid red Laptop stick is powered on and searching for an available network (2G, 3G, 4G)
Solid green Established 2G connection
Solid blue Established 3G connection
Off No power

 

SIM card

To insert the SIM card...

  1. Detach the SIM card from the card holder.

  2. Slide down and remove the back cover.
  3. Slide the SIM card into the slot.

  4. Close the back cover.

To remove the SIM card...

  1. Slide down and remove the back cover.

Memory Card

Insert/Remove card

  1. Open the microSD door on the side of the laptop stick.
  2. Insert the card as shown, and push it in until it locks into place.

    • To remove a card that is already inserted, push in on the card slightly to unlock it and then slide it out of the microSD memory card slot.
  3. Close the microSD door and push it into place.

Access files from a computer

  1. From your computer, open the Start menu and select Computer.
  2. Open the appropriate drive.
  3. Navigate to and access the desired files or folders.

Copy files from card to computer

  1. From your computer, open the Start menu and select Computer.
  2. Open the appropriate drive.
  3. Move the desired files or folders to the desired location on your computer.

Copy files from computer to card

  1. From your computer, open the Start menu and select Computer.
  2. Open the appropriate drive.
  3. Navigate to the desired folder on the memory card.
  4. In a separate window, navigate to the desired folders or files on your computer.
  5. Move the files from the computer's folder to the desired folder on the memory card.

Delete files on card from a computer

  1. From your computer, open the Start menu and select Computer.
  2. Open the appropriate drive.
  3. Navigate to the desired folder on the memory card.
  4. Right-select the file or folder you want to delete.
  5. Select Delete.
  6. Select Yes to confirm.
