Internet and picture messaging settings: Samsung Galaxy S i9000 / Galaxy i7500

To set up Internet and messaging settings, follow these steps:

 

Note:

T-Mobile cannot guarantee the functionality of any handsets or devices which were not sold by T-Mobile or an authorized dealer of T-Mobile ("non-T-Mobile devices") for use on the T-Mobile network. Nor can we guarantee the functionality of any devices which do not have a software version that was sold or updated by T-Mobile (for example, rooted devices).

 

As a courtesy, we provide the T-Mobile internet and picture messaging (MMS) settings for some non-T-Mobile devices. Device troubleshooting that is not related to the T-Mobile network (T-Mobile internet and picture messaging settings) is not provided. T-Mobile does not provide troubleshooting on non-T-Mobile devices for any issues not related to the T-Mobile network.

 

T-Mobile cannot guarantee the effectiveness of these settings and therefore does not assume any liability for the lack of effectiveness of these settings for non-T-Mobile devices.

 

We strongly recommend that our customers contact the manufacturers of their non-T-Mobile devices with any continuing questions or problems with regard to the functionality.

 

  1. Press Settings.
  2. Select Wireless controls or Wireless networks.
  3. Select Mobile networks.
  4. Select Access points.
  5. Create a new access point profile and configure as follows:

       Note: Select Save after each entry.

  • Name: T-Mobile
  • APN: epc.tmobile.com
  • Proxy: <Leave Blank>
  • Port: <Leave Blank>
  • Username: <Leave Blank>
  • Password: <Leave Blank>
  • Server: <Leave Blank>
  • MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
  • MMS proxy: <Leave Blank>
  • MMS Port: <Leave Blank>

  • APN type: internet + MMS
