How do I find my current upgrade pricing?

To determine if you qualify for a handset upgrade and discounted pricing, follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and log in to My T-Mobile.
  2. Select the filters (on the left side) to find the phone that is right for you.
  3. Scroll to the desired phone and the upgrade price will be displayed.

 

 

 

 

Does T-Mobile have an upgrade fee?

No. There's no upgrade fee for Simple Choice plan customers that qualify for an upgrade through the Equipment Installment Plan (EIP). However, a customer may be required to pay an Early Migration Access Charge to change their service.

 

 

 

 

How do I pay for my upgrade?

To pay for your upgrade, choose one of the following options:

 

Pay Online at My T-Mobile

    • Customers who upgrade online (Upgrade my phone online) may qualify for delayed payment and have the phone billed to their account.
    • Customers who qualify may also use our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) to split the price of the phone into low monthly payments.
      Note: Taking part in the EIP requires a 24-month financial agreement. For more information, see the EIP Overview.

 

Visit a T-Mobile Retail Store

    • Customers who upgrade at a T-Mobile Retail Store may pay for their Handset Upgrade with a credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa), debit card (with MasterCard or Visa logo), or cash.
    • Customers who qualify may also use our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) to split the price of the phone into low monthly payments. For more information, go to your local Retail Store.

Call Customer Care

    • Customers may pay for their Handset Upgrade with a credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa) or debit card (with MasterCard or Visa logo) when contacting our Customer Care department by phone.
    • Customers who qualify may use our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) to split the price of the phone into low monthly payments.

Availability and amount of EIP financing subject to credit approval. Down payment and unfinanced portion required at purchase. Balance paid in monthly installments. Must remain on qualifying service in good standing for duration of EIP agreement. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone/device becomes due. Taxes and late/non-payment fees may apply. Participating locations; not available in Washington, D.C.
