Order status and tracking

Use this information to check the status or track the shipment of new phone orders, upgrades, and exchanges.

 

Order Status

 

New T-Mobile customers

If you placed an order by calling 1-800-TMOBILE or by using T-Mobile.com, you can check your Order Status.

NOTE: It may take up to 48 hours before your tracking information becomes available. You will need your order number and shipping ZIP Code to track your order online.

 

Existing T-Mobile customers

To check the status of your order or view your T-Mobile.com upgrade receipt, perform the following steps:

 

Order within 30 days

  1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
  2. Select Support and then Order Status.
    NOTE: The Recent Orders section may contain up to five recent orders.

 

Order after 30 days

  1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
  2. Select Support and then Order Status.
  3. Enter your order number and billing zip code.
    NOTE: Upgrade orders placed ONLY through My T-Mobile are available to view online.

 

 


Order Tracking

 

UPS

To track your order using the UPS website, follow these steps:

 

  1. Access the UPS Tracking website.
  2. In the Shipment Reference text box, enter your 10-digit T-Mobile number in the following format: XXX-XXX-XXXX.
    NOTE: For UPS tracking, please use the T-Mobile phone number that the upgrade or exchange was ordered for.
  3. In the lower right corner of the Track by Reference screen, click Track.
    NOTE: UPS tracking information is not made available until after the order has shipped. Allow 48 hours before tracking your order.

 

 

USPS

To track your order using the USPS website, follow these steps:

 

  1. Access the USPS Track and Confirm website.
  2. In the Enter Label/Receipt Number field, enter your tracking number.
  3. Click Go.

 

 


About shipping methods

T-Mobile uses two delivery services, UPS and USPS, to ship phones and accessories to our customers.

 

United Parcel Service (UPS):

  • This service is used for most phone and accessory shipments. 
  • UPS Ground Shipping should arrive within seven business days.
  • UPS Express Shipping should arrive within three business days.

 

United States Postal Service (USPS):

  • This service is used only if you are a resident of Hawaii or your current billing address is a P.O. Box or APO/FPO.
  • USPS shipments should arrive within seven business days.
