Accessing files on a memory card using a computer

To access the memory card using a computer, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable.
2. At the Home screen, tap USB Drive.
NOTE: If the USB connected window closes, touch and hold the Notification Drawer. Slide down the screen to open it. Tap USB connected. Tap USB Drive.

NOTE: On your computer, the Removable Disk window appears.
3. Click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.
4. Click OK.
5. When you are done accessing files, on your phone, touch and hold the Notification Drawer.
6. Slide down the screen to open.
7. Tap Turn off USB storage.
8. Tap Turn off.

To access files on a memory card using the phone, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, tap the Applications tab.
2. Tap Quickoffice.
3. Tap Memory card.
4. Tap to navigate folders and files.
NOTE: To view pictures, go to How to view or access pictures stored on the memory card.

To delete files on a memory card using a computer, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable.
2. At the Home screen, tap USB Drive.
NOTE: If the USB connected window closes, touch and hold the Notification Drawer. Slide down the screen to open it. Tap USB connected. Tap USB Drive.

3. Click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

5. Click the file that you want to delete.
6. Press the Delete key.
7. Tap Turn off USB storage.

2. Tap the Picture Gallery icon
3. Tap My Pictures or All Pictures.
4. Touch and hold the file that you want to delete.
5. Tap Delete.
6. Tap Yes.

To move files from a memory card to a computer, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable.
2. At the Home screen, tap USB Drive.

5. Copy and paste or drag and drop the file to a folder on your computer.
6. Tap Turn off USB storage.

8. Disconnect the phone from the computer.

To move files from a computer to a memory card, perform the following steps:
1. Connect the phone to your computer using the USB cable.
2. At the Home screen, tap USB Drive.
NOTE: If the USB connected window closes, touch and hold the Notification Drawer. Slide down the screen to open it. Tap USB connected. Tap USB Drive.

3. Click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.
4. Click OK.
5. Copy and paste or drag and drop a file from your computer to a folder on your phone.
6. Tap Turn off USB storage.
7. Tap Turn off.
8. Disconnect the phone from the computer.

Viewing memory

To view the memory, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap SD card & storage.
4. Under SD card or Internal Phone Storage, view Available space.
