Accessing the music player

To access the music player, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Media.
3. Scroll to and select Music.
4. Select Music player.
5. Select from the following options:
  • All tracks
  • Artists
  • Albums
  • Playlists

Moving music from a computer to a memory card

NOTE: Install the memory card on the phone before starting this procedure.
To move music from a computer to a memory card, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Personalize.
3. Scroll to and select Phone settings.
4. Scroll to and select USB mode.
5. Scroll to and select Mass storage.
6. Connect the included USB cord to the slot on the upper right side of the phone first, then to your computer.
7. When a Portable Device window appears on your computer, click Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer.

8. Click OK.
9. On the computer, double-click the folder in the phone’s drive to access your files.
10. Drag and drop the music files you want to copy from your computer into the memory card folder.
11. When you are finished, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the lower right corner of your computer screen.
12. Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.
13. Disconnect the phone from the computer.
IMPORTANT: Do not disconnect the phone from the computer during a file transfer.

Adding files to a playlist

To add files to a playlist, perform one following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Media.
3. Scroll to and select Music.
4. Select Music player.
5. Select Playlists.
6. Scroll to and select the desired playlist.
NOTE: You must first create a playlist.
7. Select Options.
8. Select Add.
9. Select Tracks.
10. Scroll to and select the tracks you wish to add.
11. Select Add.

Creating a playlist

To create a playlist, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Media.
3. Scroll to and select Music.
4. Select Music player.
5. Scroll to and select Playlists.
6. Select Create Playlists.
7. Enter a name for the new playlist.
8. Select Save.

Deleting files from a playlist

To delete files from a playlist, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Media.
3. Scroll to and select Music.
4. Select Music player.
5. Scroll to and select Playlists.
6. Scroll to and select the desired playlist.
7. Scroll to and select the track you want to delete.
8. Select Options.
9. Scroll to and select Remove.
10. Select Selected.
11. Select Yes to confirm.

Deleting a playlist

To delete a playlist, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Media.
3. Scroll to and select Music.
4. Select Music player.
5. Scroll to and select Playlists.
6. Scroll to the playlist you want to delete.
7. Select Options.
8. Scroll to and select Delete.
9. Select Yes to confirm.

Playing files in a playlist

To play files in a playlist, perform the following steps:
1. At the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Media.
3. Scroll to and select Music.
4. Select Music player.
5. Scroll to and select Playlists.
6. Scroll to and select the playlist you want to play.
7. Select Options.
8. Select Play.

This handset has a portable music player, which supports the following file formats and bit rates:
  • MP3
  • AAC
  • AAC+
  • e-AAC+
  • WMA
  • RA
